New officers were elected and sworn in for 2016-2017 at the April Meeting. The Commander is still Dan Boutell with new Senior Vice Commander Larry Reid and Junior Vice Commander Richard Devoe. We thank those that stepped up so that we can continue as a proud VFW Post.

VFW Post 4249 Auxiliary elected Joanne Atkinson as President on 4/10/16 for the 2016-2017 year. This ensures that they will continue in the tradition of all of the past Auxiliary’s. Thank you Joanne for stepping up and thank you Jane for the last 3 years as President.

Because of the success of The VA’s Mobile Clinic – NREX
It is now run twice a month, each first and third Tuesday of the month from 8:30 – 1 pm.

Still needing help for Saturday nights (Oct. 8) steak fry. These Steak Fry's and Burrito nights are what keep our post going. Without them we could easily go back to the doom and gloom days before we moved back to the new building. If you can help please call the post at 652-6159 and leave your name. We will greatly appreciate it.

Burger night tonight! Burgers, Burger Baskets, Chicken strip baskets, Chicken Sandwiches, Hot Dogs, Brats.

Burgers are grilled over an open flame, chicken strips are deep fried in beer batter.

Where else can you get a 1/3 lb. burger cooked to order and topped the way that you want it for $4.00? Add fries to make it a basket for $5.00. (no extra for cheese). Or a chicken strip basket for $4.00.

Not only that, but it's all prepared and served by volunteers so that 100% of the profit goes directly to benefit veterans.
